Organize the transition from catalog to web

The e-cora and Esprit Jardin projects combined printed catalog, online products, categories and navigation. The place of a product in a commercial operation had to be reflected in a comprehensible route through the site.

The work linked catalogs and the web, product layout and menu structure. This approach starts from the data and the commercial operation to prepare for the digital consultation.

Variety of content according to stores

Separate addresses were used for several Cora stores in Belgium. These variations added to the common base the needs for presentation, language and organization of content.

The coherence of the network depended on the ability to maintain shared elements while handling the particularities of the stores, without making administration too complex.

Translating a CMS into its modules

The PrestaShop translation covered the front office, theme, error messages and installed modules. The parts visible in the store therefore did not all depend on the same translation file.

This work required identifying where each label was located and how the CMS combined theme, modules and languages. The quality of a multilingual site also depends on the details of navigation and user feedback.

A method to help your web projects

Structure content, adapt a CMS, prepare connections and track updates: this method remains useful for a multilingual site or a network of stores.

The support brings together business and technical stakeholders to make the journey clear on the user side and usable on the administration side.

This case study presents the experience of Patrice Salib, founder of Dtouch, acquired at Reymann with the agency's teams and its development and production partners.

Understanding the exchanges

Connect applications and keep exchange control.

Example of a path with deferred processing: the connector prepares the data, organizes their transfer and keeps the results of the exchanges for monitoring and recovery.
