Workflows & validation circuits

A workflow gives an operational translation of the company's rules. Dtouch connects roles, record statements and possible actions in business applications.

Define steps and responsibilities

We identify the people who prepare, control and validate an operation. Each step must specify the information expected and the conditions for proceeding.

The journey may concern a supplier invoice, a quote, an intervention or a publication. Responsibilities must be understandable for both the user and the developer.

Linking states to possible actions

A validation rule must be reflected in the actions offered by the interface and in the processing controls. The cases of modification, cancellation and return to a previous stage are part of the design.

The experiences of editorial milestones and documentary validation provide a concrete context: a date or a decision can modify the state of a document and the authorized operations.

Inform the right people

Notifications and watchlists support decision-making. They must present the file, the reason for the wait and the elements useful for the check.

We examine the context of the messages, the possible groupings and the return to the part or file concerned. The information must remain usable when several files are in progress.

Maintain benchmarks for tracking

Statuses, dates and decisions constitute a useful history for users and operations. They make it possible to understand the progress of a file and to examine a blockage.

The recipe checks authorized and refused cases, reminders and corrections. How it works is explained to the teams who take charge of each step.
