A document may appear correct in a miniature and present a problem of cast iron, link or structure when it is taken over. The string included a test tool on the IDML files and verifications of InDesign changes.
The diagnosis must bring together the document, its resources and the action that produced it. Work on ICML, fields and assignments complements this understanding of layout formats.
Control build dependencies
Fonts and images determine the engine's results. The UTS/InDesign Server connection, link management and controls for unrelated documents contributed to the reliability of production.
When a page changes, you have to understand what needs to be regenerated and check the result for the correct version. Control cannot be limited to the name of the file obtained.
Assemble and prepare PDFs
A PDF generation service provided assembly and processing for download. The editorial preparation also included page exports, contact boards and outputs adapted to the uses.
A single page, a complete catalogue and a PDF for web-based use are not the same. Order, perimeter, output options and relationship to editing should be specified.

ICC profiles, separations and support parameters meet printing constraints. The course concerns productions of several million copies, in rotogravure and rotary offset.
Technical control is carried out with production and manufacturing stakeholders. It checks the expected files and settings; content validation and proof retain their role in the process.
Variants, inks and support each have their role.
Layers organize the document. The separations isolate the inks. The paper or tracing paper are the physical supports of the test.
