The file exists in the repository, the high definition file is stored, a copy goes to a service provider then a return goes into production. These elements can become out of sync. The presence of a file in a folder does not indicate whether the processing is complete.
A chain with checkpoints
Production control reconciled internal files, agency files and returns. Clipping and task engines separate submission from final integration. Previews and files used in production must then be refreshed.
Incidents that guide the design
Situations encountered include the same image sent in a loop, missing files when returned and PSD clippings not reapplied to high definition. They lead to checking dependencies, avoiding accidental repetitions and making targeted reprocessing possible.
However, a voluntary correction must remain possible: the image can be returned after checking if the first detour is insufficient.

Activity reports by service provider and by file bring together technical operation and production monitoring. The integration thus meets two needs: making the files available and understanding the work that has been carried out.
E.Leclerc Portugal: prepare the inserts before assembly
For the E.Leclerc Portugal catalogs, offshore preparation concerned in particular the inserts sent by suppliers. The elements had to be prepared early enough so that the teams could use them during assembly.
Offshore planning and file organization linked the receipt of elements to their use on the pages. This upstream coordination complements the mechanisms for sending, returning and tracking resources.
This case study presents the experience of Patrice Salib, founder of Dtouch, acquired at Reymann with the agency's teams and its development and production partners.
